RobinM
Thank you EVERYONE. I told Beau yesterday that there were sooooo many people and their houndies thinking and praying for him. I told him to KNOCK IT OFF and HE DID!!!! His gait is little off but it's not a full blown limp. It came on suddenly as they often do. We are hoping it's just a form of arthritis. Once upon a time, I would have had some comfort in the fact he had a set of x-rays done on all limps, chest etc just 3 months ago, but unfortunately we all know how quickly that status can change. GreytHurleyDawg
Good boy, Beau!!!! He looks like a lighter-colored, thinner version of Woodie, with the thick ears and black kissy spots on his nose!!! The only time Woodie limped, I lost it, crying and hoping that it wasn't the start of a bad illness. It turned out to have been a sprain or muscle injury. I am sure with Beau's issues, it is likely he will hurt his good leg once in awhile. Please kiss his sweet nose for me! We take arthritis-prevention now because it seems to help and I don't want my boys to feel pain. >><<Kisses>><< Quote Bow Wow Wow Yippie Yo Yippie Yay Johanna with hounds: Woodie (Molly's Marvin) (Grenade X Kh Molly) and Petra (Make Her a Pet) (Dodgem By Design X Late Nite Oasis) and forever missing Hurley (Jel Try Out) (Gable Dodge X Kings Teresa) with Kalapaki Beach in Kauai as the background

RobinM
i wonder if this seemingly eternal nasty weather affected him? regardless, im glad he is feeling better I too wonder if that could contribute. With the IBD, everything is 2ndary. We know he had the bout of what the vet called (but specialist did not) polyarthritis flare up, whatever it is, go away and don'g come back! Guest JudiK
Has he been checked for Lyme? My Clipper came up positive at the vet's last month... it will cause arthritus-like symptoms. The test is pretty cheap.
RobinM
Yes, Judi- Beau has a lot of things going on with his immune system because of the immune suppressive drugs he is on (we are tapering but it will be a while before totally off). He was tested for every TBD.
