Guest 8_Greyt_Greys
Cheyanne is really sick. It started Monday. She was on the recliner sleeping. I don't know if she fell off or had a seizure. She come stumbling out like a drunk. The reason i question seizure is because she was alert and she had her back arched like pain. I got her in the bedroom and talked to her and rubbed her down and she seemed ok. Well yesterday she had some big D . So i put her in a crate to rest. When i went to feed her she was acting weird . She had threw up. Then last night her big D turned to blood. This morning it was nothing but blood. She went to the vets and she has no temp. no parasites. He gave her 3 shots. sent meds home with her. Sent a total blood panel out and a fecal sample out. Now we wait. Pleas keep her in you prayer and thoughts. Guest SoulsMom
Wow, the whole arching back thing and all blood BigD sounds like when Soul had his HGE blow out. Did they give you Flagyl and a special diet for her? Any fluids? When Soul had nothing but blood coming out of him during a bowel movement my vet wanted him to be hospitalized overnight on a IV. If it's HGE, early treatment is key. Sending tons of good thoughts Edited May 21, 2009 by SoulsMom

Guest SoulsMom
Glad to hear she had a good night! You might ask the vet about some Flagyl, I'm surprised he didn't already prescribe it . . . with every single bout of bloody stools that Soul has had both the E-vet and my vet have given him Flagyl. I now keep a supply on hand should he relapse again.
