Ok everyone! You have done it! You have created a miracle! Dr. L called - he said, "I'm not going to waste your money by sending this slide to a pathologist. There were no lymphoma cells. This lymph node was just a reactive lymph node; reacting to the assault of the infection."

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? MY LITTLE GIRL ACTUALLY HAS BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE!

Now I can amend my initial question when this nightmare began: How does a 4-1/2 beautiful girl go from perfectly healthy to complete renal failure in less than 24 hours followed by a near miraculous recovery 78 hours later? IT'S THE POWER OF GREYTALK!

Hugs and kisses to all of you. Please, right now, go and give your hounds a hug and a kiss and a belly rub from me, OK? Tell them, that if they are ever feeling poorly, their "Auntie Linda" will be chanting for their recovery. My next post will be when we bring Suze home and I promise to include photos. BTW: She is the one in the back in my ID photo.

Suze is the one who did it, and I can't even tell you how thrilled I am right now.

No idea but glad she's better!

Dallas had acute renal failure when she had her obstruction....the vet told me acute is the good kind to have as they normally recover from it. He said it's often due to an inceftion or distress of some kind. In Dallas' case she had a blockage in her intestine that caused her values to be worrisome.

She's home. There was a time that I didn't think I would be typing those words. She came home at 4:00 pm today.

She's home. She is home with no restrictions, eating her regular food, with relatively normal blood values and with the blessings of her doctors to make a full recovery. She's on antibiotics and we will visit our good friends at the E-vet in 2 weeks to check blood work.

OMG! What forces are there in the universe that takes this beautiful, sensitive, smart, stubborn, alpha-girl from the brink of death to dreaming on her bed in 6 days? Why is there no cause for her acute renal failure? Ultrasound: negative, Urine culture: negative, Lyme & Erlichia: negative, Lymph nodes: negative, Lepto: negative. No toxins, no anti-freeze, no nothing.............................Thank doG! Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this thread! Even if you didn't post a reply, it helped to know that you were there, "listening" to me agonize over this impossible situation that came out of nowhere.

She's home. She's home. She's home. I think I'm going to give myself permission to fall apart now. I promised photos and I have them, but my new USB cord for the camera has grown legs and walked off. As soon as it reappears, I will post photos.

Hey. Plenty of time for photos. If I were you, I'd probably spend the next 72 hours watching her sleep, eat, poke around, etc., all with a silly smile on my face.

So glad she is home and in good shape!
