Guest Bethf03 Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) We went to the vet and spoke with Sexton Doc, we just didnt feel it was time yet. Sooooo.. we didnt put him down After talking to Dr Beckman she stated if we did it now and then later thought, was it to soon, or what if? Yes he is slowing down, and has cancer, she stated that Its never easy and yes sometimes harder if we wait. He seems to have his good days and bad days and yesterday morning was another bad day. Now today he is up and following us around in the house (probaly thinking he is going to get some turkey . so we still have our boy and will continue to love him until it really is time to say goodbye. I want to thank everyone for there replys with yesterdays topic i put up. Were all special people for what we do for these special gifts that we are allowed to bring into our homes and love them. They are each unique and different, but today I am thankful that I am allowed more days with my buddy, and I am thankful for the love they give me and have the chance and opportunity to give them a comfortable, good life for the remaining days they are here on this earth with us. And I am thankful today for many friends that I dont know personally but have a bond with thru our love of wonderful pets. Thank you all again.
