Guest tricolorhounds
Finally... It's been just over 3 months since Miss Savannah had surgery to repair a broken heel... Today she had her cast taken off My pretty girl just because Background: On June 30th, Savannah was in the yard playing and as she was coming back into the house she let out a scream which is very uncharacteristic of her as she is normally very stoic. She had broken the tip off her heel where the achillies tendon attaches. Her surgery was on July 2nd, followed by 3 months worth of bi-weekly bandage changes. I was told that it would probably be awhile before she put her foot down, but within the hour, she was using her newly freed leg. Luckily, there were no sores... she just needs a good bath Once again, thank you everyone... GT chanting R O C K S !!!

krissn333
Woo hoo! Having seen many broken legs through my years in adoption, the white dogs' legs always look much worse than they are...but that area of their body is almost transparent sometimes on those white pups, so it looks really strange to see scars and stitch lines. Once she's cleaned up and the pinkness goes away you'll start to see that leg start to look like the other one Quote Kristin in Moline, IL USA with Ozzie (MRL Crusin Clem), Clarice (Clarice McBones), Latte and Sage the IGs, and the kitties: Violet and Rose Lovingly Remembered: Sutra (Fliowa Sutra) 12/02/97-10/12/10, Pinky (Pick Me) 04/20/03-11/19/12, Fritz (Fritz Fire) 02/05/01 - 05/20/13, Ace (Fantastic Ace) 02/05/01 - 07/05/13, and Carrie (Takin the Crumbs) 05/08/99 - 09/04/13.
