It is so very hard to let them go but you did the right thing and I do believe that he is now running free of pain at the Bridge and that you will see him there again - I hope your wonderful memories of his time with your family will help to ease the pain of his loss. I lost Jane to an intestinal blockage as well, back in January, just 3 months after we lost our other grey suddenly. It hurts so badly, but I can promise you that you *will* heal. But reading about your boy and his arthritis and corns makes me think of Morky and all the problems he has simply walking. I often wonder how much more his aging body can take.
