GreyWrangler Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Leap day - at least it won't be a yearly event Friday afternoon will be the end of her saga, last weekend she decided not to eat for 2 days. She did eat monday, then again something today, a cup of cooked chicken. Last weeks vet appointment she was down to 48.5 lbs. Eyes are still Bright and her ears alert, but she is tired. I will always remember her laying in your lap at Barbara's condo in Dewey, with her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth, totally happy and enjoying the attention. I will miss her greatly. And it wasn't even the cancer that will get her. Old age is. Though the cancer had come back and even if she'd still be spry we wouldn't have done a 4th surgery. Though the EMT get did promote some nice healthy looking tissue until the cancer grew through it.
