  1. Wonderful update. I love her curled tongue. Nothing says, "Hurry up with those cheezburgers plane!" like a curly tongue.
  2. Hi Mark! You definitely look thinner. I hope the treat supply improves soon.
  3. She looks fantastic! Very bright and happy. I hope you are able to figure out the panting, or that it subsides on its own. It's great that she's mobile and eating. Go Willa!
  4. Exactly. Although it could be, "I vant to be alun."
  5. The first reminds me of an early 20th century movie siren; the second is more late 20th century goof. Either way, she's lovely.
  6. Guess so. I think I still have blood in odd spots from long-gone happy tails.
  7. I'm so very sorry. So young and so close to a happy retirement.
  8. Sorry about the rough night. Delighted about the Willa Waggles. Not sure which is attributable to the words on the t-shirt.
  9. Willa--> She's doing amazingly well. She'll soon be over the stress about pottying. Eating and drinking can be harder to fix and she's already okay there. Doolin--> He too will soon relax, especially if he gets tasty treats. Richard--> I'm so sorry that he had to leave. It's great that he had a tasty treat first. I hope he slipped away easily and quietly. Godspeed Richard.
  10. Sometimes, treats are more enjoyable with proper elevation of the hindquarters. The degree of elevation depends on the dog and the treat. Tally used to do a full downward dog for her evening treat.
  11. Glad to hear everything went well. Back to baknforfing. Doolin's concern-->
  12. Mark He'll love having a guest, even if he does have to give up one of his beds.
  13. on Tuesday. Will be baknforfing with everyone else.
  14. Fingers crossed for Willa. Richard too. Their paths may be different but I hope they both have as much good time left as possible. ETA: Watched the video after my comment. I love the whippy tail while the toy grunts.
  15. Truer words were never written. I've had as many as 8 hounds and 2 std. poodles in under 1500 sq ft, and they were almost always all on the main floor of a side split (ie, maybe 500 sq ft). Granted that all were seniors, but as long as there were enough beds for the hounds (well, big Graham preferred the area rug), we were good.
  16. Oh Noooooo! I'm so incredibly sorry that your sweet happy girl had to leave so soon. We will all miss her pics and antics. Godspeed LaVida.
  17. You wrote a lovely gentle remembrance of a terrific boy. You, he, and (for several years) Max had a great time together, and it shows in every sentence and photo. It's so hard to say goodbye to a boy like that. Godspeed Logan.
  18. "It's my 14th Birthday today!" She's doing fairly well thanks to a "Senior Cocktail" of meds, supplements, and treatments. Her biggest problem is that she is no longer surrounded by Greyhounds. The woolly dog is a lot of fun--Tood's taken on Hildy's role as playmate--but Daisy isn't a greyhound. Anyway, some pics of the birthday girl. The first was taken after her morning walk today: The other two were taken during and after (separate) walks in April (Daisy isn't really bigger than Toodles): Happy 14th Toodles!
  19. Noooooo!!! It's so incredibly unfair and unbelievably sad. My heart breaks for all of you. I hope she has more good time than you expect.
