  1. Congratulations! I hope it all works out.
  2. I hope that whatever it is, it's quickly diagnosed and easily remedied. FWIW, Betsy is prone to neck "cricks", which can be awful for her but have always resolved in time.
  3. I'm so very sorry. Godspeed Angel.
  4. I hope he's home, healing, and happy very soon.
  5. Leaks can be huge. But unless she sleeps on the kitchen floor, those are probably puddles. Glad you found the mattress cover.
  6. Congratulations! I love Buffy's eyebrows.
  7. If I read your post correctly, she's peeing rather than leaking. The Proin won't do much about that, although it may control the leaking enough so that she pees, if you catch my drift. Since she's picked out two spots, and you're not worried about one of them, I'd be inclined to find something to cover the bed. I use washable human incontinence bed covers. They're about 2' X 3'. Or you can use baby mattress covers. If they don't stay in place, just wrap bed and covers in a sheet. When she pees, you need only change the sheet and covers. As KF_in_Georgia said, there may be problems if the other dogs share the beds and track through it or (ahem, Poppy) cover it.

    Boozer

I'm so very sorry. You wrote a lovely tribute to your special--and oh so handsome--boy. I'm so glad he got to spend his last days with you. Godspeed Boozer.
  9. I'm so very sorry. Godspeed Matt.
  10. I'm so very sorry. You've endured too much loss in too short a time. Godspeed Indy.
  11. I'm so sorry. Godspeed Crazy Legs.
  12. You can get a line (light rope) or a cheap leash and cut the handle off, and leave it attached to her. It can be shortened, but should be long enough that you can step on it. When you want to reel her in, get close to her and stand on it. If it's a leash (not a line, which will burn your hand), you can use it to take her out. Or you can have another leash tucked into your waistband at the back, and standing sideways to make it less obvious, draw it out and attach it. As someone else mentioned, a harness might be a good idea--you won't be reaching toward her head. I like the idea of leaving leashes in sight as well.
  13. Oh no. I am so sorry. How incredibly sad to lose your girls so close together. Godspeed Fiona.
  14. I'm glad she's healing nicely. But wow, what a long recovery she has to endure.
