The combo of pain meds + pepcid sound good, and you can always increase the frequency of the tramadol as needed. Glad she's still her happy spinny self. So very sorry to hear the "C" news. Such a difficult path to travel. Pain management is crucial. What has your vet prescribed so far? Might want to join the Circle of Grey for additional support and advice. Hoping you have much more quality time with your precious girlie.

Phoenix lived to be 16, and Shari was 14 1/2. All my others have survived to ages 9 1/2 to 10 due to osteo.

Marion, I'm sorry to hear that Ivy is losing bowel control. I went through that with Phoenix who was just plain old (lived to 16). She did best in an expanded ex-pen with the tile floor completely covered with cloth potty pads over her dog bed. Lots of loads of laundry, but doable.
