I'm so sorry. OS is such a monster, and no way to protect our babies from getting it (so far). Might want to join the Circle of Grey group for additional support and advice. Effective pain management is critical to ensure decent quality of life. Holding your sweet Cuz in my prayers.

Glad you pinpointed the problem and are changing meds. Rimadyl and tramadol together worked very well for one of my hounds. Also gave Pepcid AC 30 to 45 min. prior to NSAID medication. It's a good idea to take him with you. Cherish every moment you have with your precious boy and take plenty of photos.
