  1. “They” said on the news this morning that travel over the next couple of weeks should be no more chaotic than usual if there is a government shutdown. The problems will come if it lasts more than two weeks or so. Hopefully you all will be ok.
  2. Such a pretty girl She looks like a great fit and I know Mark is happy to have a girlfriend
  3. There is nothing like a broodie and she has the best expressions
  4. Good boi Buddy! I hope it helps, I have used it on several dogs for various issues. I know it doesn’t always work, I have had results from mild improvement to, literally, lifesaving, but I always say it is worth trying. It helped my own arthritis as well.
  5. Traveling’ is old hat by now That the vaccine does its work.
  6. Look at those two beauties You ladies ended up in the best place for you and Miss Jan!
  7. This is how it went with Val (most of my dogs showed no interest in getting on the human bed) me: you are in my spot. Val: suddenly becomes deaf me: I give you the other 3/4s of the bed, that is where I sleep! Val: continues to ignore me me: ok, you asked for it. I gently push her 6” over Val: glares at me and leaves the bed in a huff
  8. Who doesn’t like a gorgeous red head Congratulations!
  9. Willa! Fashion Queen! I’ve never had a harness twist that much either, is it too loose? My guess would be her hoppy gait is the main cause, not much you can do about that.
  10. Road trips are the best! Although, of course, I wish it was entirely for fun. the vaccine works 100% for Willa
  11. Oh Punkin that sounds scary but I hope it is not something serious I am glad you can see the vet today Jan
  12. I was wondering about the Jackie Collins myownself But reading material aside, Good Job AnnIE
  13. I can’t help much with the meds as it is really trial and error to see what works with each dog. I had a couple of oldies with back end/spinal issues, and acupuncture, cold laser, and the Assisi loop worked well for both. Buddy looks wonderful I also had one of those soft harnesses that I kept on Val 24/7 towards the end, very good for helping her get up. Both Val and Conner made it past 14, mostly comfortable, until suddenly they weren’t and it was obvious they were ready to go. I hope Buddy’s leaving is a long way off, but you will know edited to add, I don’t know if this is an option where you live but I was lucky enough to find a vet who came to the house to do the acupuncture. Might be worth looking around to see.
  14. osteo you already knew, that’s been dealt with. For the rest Willa’s got this
  15. Hola Mark! I am sure you can work your magic to keep your treat intake up!
