  2. White dogs do tend to have spotty skins, and I think the spots increase with age: this is Fletcher a couple of years ago, he has more spots now. Hard to tell from the picture, but yours did look more like blackheads

  6. I hope Monty is feeling better today! It takes awhile for the anesthesia to get out of their systems. Longer for some than others, and with all Monty's sensitivities, he may take as long as a few days. I hope the Tramadol helps, I've used it with no problems, but if it makes him antsy, maybe your vet could try something else.
  7. I was using it for Sugar, and got it from HealthyPets or EntirelyPets, they usually have great sales. I switched to Dasuquin, made by the same company. It is supposed to be better, but I forget why Unfortuneately, it only comes from the vet, so it is more expensive. Haven't decided what to do when this bottle starts to run out...

I've not had to got through this, and hope I never do, but unfortuneately, the more greys one has, the greater the odds of meeting this monster of . The more knowledge one has, the better able to cope, I think.
  12. I've been reading the updates but haven't had time to reply (work ). Anyway, I wanted to second the recommendation for colostrum. I can't help with dosage, I gave it to my CRF cat and it really helped his appetite, helped him retain weight, and boosted his immune system. I sprinkled it on his food and he seemed to really like the taste (remember, this was a CAT ) Glad to hear he finally got a bath, I'm sure it made him feel much better
  13. I am far from being an expert on this, and I'm sure you will get more knowledgeable responses, but, as soon as you described his behavior in the attack, I thought "seizure". I hope you can get to the bottom of this quickly!
  14. I am so sorry...there is never enough time, but there is an extra shock when they are so young
