  1. I am sorry he is not getting to come home, but it does sound like your vet is on top of things. I am sure he is getting great care, still, for Dear and for you
  2. while it is a terrible shock for the ones left behind, that IS a good way to go, quickly, doing something you love. I've seen way to much of the other ways
  3. this is the kind of post I like to read in H&M
  4. I am sorry Dear is poorly, but it sounds like the vets response was encouraging I hope he continues to improve and gets to come home soon!
  5. Carol, I am glad to hear she is still feeling better (don't really understand about the Cushings/Addisons thing).
  6. I am so sorry Lacers was such a fighter! You know she will be missed by her many friends on GT
  7. OMG what a shock! Not the Queen I guess I thought she would just go on forever. I am so sorry
  8. Isn't it wonderful when they start greeting you at the door again! I hope she continues to feel good!
  9. glad to hear he is recovering so well!
  10. I hope it is just a matter of time until he's back to 100%! If he needs encouragement to eat, a little grated parmesan sprinkled on top of the food worked wonders for Ethel, now known as Fat Girl
  11. Carol I am so sorry to hear this! I am glad she pulled through,
  12. Sugar has bad arthritis and backend weakness, the acupuncture has helped her a lot! One visit her vet did that heated stick on the needles thing , but mostly we just use "dry" needles. It has also helped her incontinence problems, a whole lot!
  13. I am sorry things didn't turn out better
  14. Sugar's panting turned out to be from an enlarged heart. Since your girl is over 12 and your vet is grey-savvy, might be worth checking out. Hoping it is just stress and she will settle soon!
  15. When you said he "pranced" when he wore a fancy collar, I couldn't resist
  16. Wow, he is looking so much better! I think he will be a very handsome boy when his coat grows back in, or even if it doesn't, he is still a handsome boy
  17. poor Riley! Now that he is at the vet's he should be fine. Hope he won't have to have surgery
