  1. I may have missed it, but are you giving her anything for an upset tummy? Sugar got a regular Pepcid along with her other pills, it helped her want to eat.
  2. glad to read the update! keeping improving, Grandpa
  3. it does sound like nausea might be the main problem, I hope you can get something stronger for that tomorrow, and it does the trick! It is just so awful when they won't eat
  4. glad you have an answer! I, too, thought the symptoms sounded like "heart", but I'm not a vet, nor do I play one Sugar had a similar diagnosis (but more advanced). She was on Lasix and Enalipril, and later Vetmedin. She did quite well for about 2 1/2 years.
  5. hope you are able to get some answers!
  6. we always talk about how they live in the present, and I think this is a good example. At that moment, Bodie was feeling pretty good, felt like running, felt like barking, so he did The time will come when there aren't anymore of those moments, or they are outweighed by the bad times, and you will know. I hope there are more good times for Bodie
  7. How terrifying! I amso glad to hear she is doing better for her chemo
  8. so glad to hear he is doing better! I am a total fan of acupuncture. It was an enormous help to Sugar, and it worked so well for her, I started going for my arthritis.
  9. I missed this yesterday! So glad to hear she is doing better today. Pill pockets worked well for Sugar, I used the smaller "cat" ones for her. Also, Braunschweiger is a good pill-hider . I hope she continues to improve. If she's not lactose intolerant, vanilla Ensure will give her some calories and some fluids.
  10. way to go Mac when Sugar started having her back end problems last year, the steroid shot (pred, I think) got her mobile, shaky, wobbly, staggering, but mobile fairly quickly. I helped her with a sling, but she HATED it. Acupuncture is what really helped long term, and pain meds. Luckily, she was small enough (60 lbs) that I could carry her up and down our three steps if I had too.
  11. I am glad to hear Misty is home and stabilized. I hope when you talk to the vet on Monday you can come up with a new plan for her
