  1. Obedience boot camp for Xavi. Not doing great with down and sit, but doing very well with stay, wait, leave it and leash work.
  2. Relax and give her time. Everything is very new, different and scary for her.
  3. I bought mine at a mountain climbing equipment store. It survives Iker.
  4. I had a lab that was treated for heart worm; he had it when I adopted him. It's true that he had more body fat than your dog, but the treatment was rough on him. It was a long time ago, back when dogs were being treated with arsenic. Maybe things are better now.
  5. I'm so sorry. Aston will be missed by so many of us
  6. I'm so very sorry. She was a true beauty
  7. I'm so sorry. I was really hoping things would turn around. I'll miss his photos, especially of him outdoors.
  8. Good luck. I've always enjoyed posts about Pepper
  9. Pam, I'm so very sorry. Seems like Poodle had been with us forever, but in fact it wasn't enough time
  10. They help themselves to my coffee all the time. Nothing to worry about.
  11. Even Robin can chime in on this. I do live with two galgos and go to Spain every six months or so to volunteer at FBM Yes, intellectual stimulation is important if you have an active dog.
  12. Irene, my heart dropped when I saw Paul's name. I am so very. Worry. Please give Len my condolences, too.
  13. Victor, you did the best you could for Duke with the information you had. All of your actions were done out of love.
  14. Oh no, how sad. I'm so very sorry. We were all hoping for a better outcome
  15. Good to "see" you, Darlene! Pictures?

    Xavi is so shy

    From the album: Xavi

  17. Great update! Looking forward to the next one. Try to get some rest now.
  18. Even better, you can adopt super active, super smart, super curious, super uninhibited, super crazy Xavi the galgo. He's only an hour away! Would you trust this face??? Just kidding! Today, anyway
  19. Everybody is different. Osteo does not go away and maybe she wanted to save her dog from tremendous pain. I've lost all of my greyhounds to osteo and was always told that no matter how much of their pain we witness, the dog is experiencing much more than we will ever see.
