  1. A tiny hijack, a suggestion for picking up yucky poops - try to slide a sturdy paper plate under their butt as they start to poop. The just put the whole thing in a plastic grocery bag.
  2. Thirteen chocolate cupcakes, not frosted. After the vet stopped laughing, he said it should be fine. He did ask if they were in those foil cups, but I had run out of them so they were just in the paper ones.
  3. We've used Actiflex 4000 liquid. It's also a horse supplement. We give a teaspoon on their food every meal. Need to keep it in the fridge. It was amazing the difference on my gimpy boy Durango a few years ago. He went from strolling around the backyard to trotting!!! There is a canine version, but it is a lot more expensive and is basically the same thing.
  4. Years ago I had a grey named JJ. He was the perfect boy, never once peed in the house until one day he just stood in the hall and peed a river. Took him to the vet. Major crystals in his bladder. Got drugs. Finished the drugs, Checked him again and no crystals until about three months later. Same thing, peed in the house. Back to the vet. More meds. Vet said if it kept happening he would need special (read EXPENSIVE) food. Jokingly asked the vet if cranberry juice would help. He thought about it and then said, sure, you can try it if he'll drink it. So we put about a 1/4 cup of cranberry juice on his kibble. The first few days he just looked at us like what are you giving me?? But after a while, if we ran out or forgot to put it on his food, he'd bark at us! Sooooo, long story short - never had a problem again. He got either juice or a cranberry capsule every time he ate. Might want to try the capsules. One warning, if the powder gets out of the capsule, it STAINS!!! Halise

  11. That seems to be everyone's reaction to him!! Right now he is "vacationing" at the GPA MA kennel because next weekend we are having a HUGE Celebration of Life barbeque for my late wife and I am running around like a madwoman. I'll be picking him up and bringing him home right after that. I can't wait!! We decided to call him Clark Kent!!
  12. He is a handsome brindle boy. Race name DC Man of Steal. Kennel called him Steeler. He is actually a little darker than this picture, this one is a few months old and he still had his farm coat. Halise
