  1. Slim & Goldie got something that sounds like that a few times. Most of the time it went away after I started rubbing 98% alcohol over it twice a day. One time one of them had it when he was at the vet and it also went away with a course of antibiotics. I would try the alcohol first just because I don't like giving them drugs except as a last resort but thats just me. I seem to remember that someof the "pimples" would occassionally have a yellow "head" on them.
  2. I'm so sorry. My deepest sympathy.
  3. I did that once with Goldie too. It didn't have any impact at all.
  4. Still praying and thanking! Keep getting better girl-how does that go? ... you can be "better than before, better, stronger, faster!! "YEA!
  5. One of my vets refuses to use Rimadyl due to kidney issues. Another of my vets last week told me of a greyt that just crossed over due to acute renal failure who was on Rimadyl. I agree with Burpdog. Pills are not always the answer. Many times there are other effective options. It just boils down to personal preference and thats just my opinion.
  6. Can't wait for her to get home! Keep getting well sweetie!
  7. New vets. I wouldn't put my dogs life into the hands of somebody that cannot even tell what a pair feels like. You are not a vet. Yet you made the correct diagnosis when you examined him. Why pay and trust somebody that doesn't know as much about dogs as you do?
  8. OH I'm so very sorry-what a stunning girl. What remarkable incredible accomplishments. What love.
  9. I have had super OUTSTANDING results for years with Fresh Factors- plus it is real easy to give it to them because the dogs think they are delicious treats and gobble each tab down! Their addy is www.springtimeinc.com but you'll have to cut/paste as I don't know how to make the linky work.
  10. What a moving and awesome tribute for such a lovely lady. Oh how blessed we are are when angel dogs like that enter our lives. My deepest sympathy.
  11. Outstanding. Be assured that the prayers will keep going- wonderful thanksgiving prayers for her recovery!
