    Crazy Sahra

What a wonderful tribute those pictures are. What a story they tell. My favorite is the bee costume. My deepest sympathy.
  5. Sounds like her "chemistry" is screwed up. Kind of like a horse that ties up or gets the thumps etc. Holistic vet will probably be on top of this. Praying for her quick recovery!!!
  6. You can never go wrong with BACH'S Rescue Remedy. It works great for such. It helps correct the dogs energy and the dog can relax and not be stressed which reduces pain(very short verion of explanation). Anyway that works great for me in situations like you describe. Also might gently rub the paws(pads and all), "ankles" and ears-oodles of good accupressure points there. You can also stimulate the "aspirin point" on the hind leg which reduces pain and the point right between the eyes on their bridge relaxes them too. You might be able to see illustration of the aspirin point on the web somewhere. Hope your Baby feels better soon!
  7. You just got to find the right food for each dog. When I tried Goldie on CA Natural it caused him to eat dirt and have terrible loose bowels. When I tried Solid Gold foods he quit eating dirt and did well so I kept him on that and raw. She is beautiful! She is lucky you got in the car that day! By the way some greys love children. Again it depends on the dog.
  8. Goldie would cough everytime he drank water-raised or on the ground-it didn't matter. A board certified vet said it was "drinkers cough" and nothing to be concerned about and it never caused him any problems. Interstingly he could drink other things like milk and wouldn't cough. Never figured that out!
  9. Great news for Ryan. I too feed Solid Gold. It is the best I have found and is Whole Dog Journal says it is good also. Cissy (owner) always makes feeding recommendations for me when I need them. When my senior began having kidney issues she recommended the Holistic Blendtz (very low phosphorus & lower protein) and Aggie does very well on it and likes it. When another hound had anal gland issues she recommended Barking at the Moon and now anal glands are a non-issue. My other dogs love the Hund n Flocken. I feed the Seameal with all of them like they say. I feed raw also. In fact I think the 13 year olds raw tripe is another biggie in keeping her 'on the muscle'. Just wanted to let you know that Solid Gold is very good at making useful feeding recommendations if you ever need it. It has saved me and the hounds a lot of grief and expense. Happy Howl o ween!
  10. Oh my goodness- those beautiful eyes. Your heart knows she is waiting for you. How tender and loving that she often visits you. Take comfort in knowing she will always be a part of you. “For love is as strong as death…. Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can the floods drown it.” Song of Solomon 8:6-7
  11. Love is eternal. Love is the ultimate. Nothing else matters. Your hearts will forever be together.
  12. It is a great gift that he will always be a part of your heart.
