  1. Please can you PM me too because I'm interested in this for Wallace.
  2. Sending lots of love and good thoughts from over the pond
  3. I'm exactly the same as above. I think there's a massive difference between being paranoid & at the vets every time the dog farts - and being aware and taking action accordingly. I don't take mine in every time they get a graze or every time one pukes or else I'd be living in the little appartment above the surgery! However, I am very aware that it's good to follow my gut instinct, even when outward signs may say I'm being an over protective dog Mummy. With Darcy, I do worry, for obvious reasons. I am, as you will understand, always waiting for 'the other shoe to fall' or whatver the phrase is. With Wallace, I now also watch very closely.
  4. You probably know what my answer is going to be () but I'd have to take her in for x-rays. There are a million and one things which can cause a limp (as you know) but any more than a day or so for me and they have to be x-rayed.
  5. I'm so sorry Heather Run and play Dempsey
  6. Oh Judy. I'm so sorry Beyond The Rainbow As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played, I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade. I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity. I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide! And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be! My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do. I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night. 'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold. For although we may not be together in the way we used to be, We are still connected by a cord no eye can see. So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart. cg - 1995
  7. I'm hoping to read much better news when I get back here later today
  8. Glad to hear that surgery went well and that he'll soon be on his way home
  9. I'm afraid I'd be looking for another vet. Any other vet.
  10. Nothing like knowing that every pizza you've eaten thus far has been filthy and unsanitary!!! I was thinking, as soon as Trudy posted about the new dining options "yes, but are you actually going to risk eating at any of them" and then I read that (above) and laughed out loud The shed really does look great Trudy
  11. I go for a Histiocytoma too. But when they first appeared on Wallace, we had them surgically removed and tested because often they are hard to tell apart by sight alone, from other things. Thinking good thoughts!
  12. Sending good thoughts for Cougar
  13. Awww, that looks sore and uncomfortable. I hope it heals very soon
  14. The link under the red line of text is working but the top one is not. The bottom link for europe works for me too. We sent a sample of Darcys blood to the place in the bottom link
  15. I'm very sorry to hear your news Sleep tight Payne
  16. Sending very best wishes for Caesar and for you From me and Darcy Deerhound (10 months post amp for osteo)
  17. I've not really got any advice but just wanted to say that Mokka (mixed breed aged almost 14) had one single episode of something similar sounding a few weeks ago. I grabbed the phone to call the vet but by the time I'd dialed she was back to normal and it's never happened again. Obviously if it does, I'll take her in but she's been perfectly normal since.
  18. Two years Hoping that his current issue is very easily sorted and that the celebrations can begin again very soon
  19. I've no idea how I've not seen this thread. I'm really glad to hear that little Emmy is starting to eat a little now. I'm having an issue with Wallace and his feeding but on a much smaller scale than you've been having with Emmy. He would eat cooked pasta for his three meals if I allowed him to but I also want him to have some proper dog food for nutritional balance. But he just really wants pasta. Just now, before I read your thread, I was sitting on the floor, trying to get him to eat normal kibble (soaked) off a spoon. I think I too may have to look into this yeast thing. Edit - you were typing at the same time as me! I'm so pleased that she's eaten better again I will definately be looking for yeast!
