Gracie used to go after books and magazines if I was gone for a fairly long time. She loves to shred paper! So I purposely leave several folded paper towels around the living room and the occasional toilet paper core ... the inside of the roll ... if I'm going to be gone longer than usual. Keeps her busy and she doesn't go after other stuff. Of course I do come home to teensy tiny little shreds of paper towel.

Beautiful imagery and so right for Otis and Roo, I always loved their stories. OK, after watching the video I'm sniffling.

I'd just use Neosporin or something on it with maybe a bit of gauze to keep the dirt out, use plain water or saline to wash it off if you need to.

I've never noticed an odor problem with their bully sticks, the trachea etc. yes, but not the bully sticks. The other household favorite are the house brand Lamb Lung Chips, it comes in 1 or 2 pound packages and is soooo much cheaper than Baa Baa Q's!

When Carl had HGE and wasn't eating or drinking I could get him to drink low sodium chicken broth mixed with water as described above. He did end up getting 2 L of fluid, but only once.

Kennel Mom ,you're right about the interest rate I should have said it can be as high as 29.99%. I've always paid them off before the promo ended and have never paid any interest, they are very handy to have and the one time I called them gave great customer service.

Just remember to ask for the Interest Free each time you use it, they don't do it automatically. I've used mine for my extensive dental work and at the vets and they each offer various time periods for different amounts from 6 - 18 months. Each use is a different payoff ... they don't combine amounts even from the same practice. I divide each amount by the payoff time period and subtract a month to be safe. I keep a list of payoff due dates in the back of my check book and live by that, the default interest rate if you go beyond is 29.99% of the entire total, not just what is left to pay.

My order arrived today and the hounds are in heaven! I have never had a problem with smelly bully sticks from this company and I order just the normal jumbo ones, from other places yes, smelly yuck but not from here. Some times they last a couple of hours sometimes a day or two ... just depends. I get the lamb lung too and laugh at the expressions on their faces, it's hound crack, and I use the dust in the bottom of the bag to sprinkle on kibble.

My hounds send you their thanks and slurpy kisses ! I got them last time someone mentioned them, along with some lamb lung and they are soooo much nicer than the ones in the stores, cheaper and last a bit longer too I too got an email notice of the sale and looked for them yesterday and was disappointed when I didn't see them, if you haven't tried these you're missing the boat!.

I can't believe it's been that long, Otis was such a beautiful boy. I think of him whenever I start a new WFBUCC, he was one of the original founders and one of the reasons it came into being.

They are never with us for as long as we would like them to be, they leave us with huge holes in our hearts and a love that lasts forever. I'm so sorry she had to leave you, I'll keep you both and Secret too in my thoughts.

I have a Large PetSafe door that fits my patio slider, the opening is 10 X 15 with an adjustable rise set at 8 inches I think. Both hounds got the hang of it in less than a day with the aid of some chicken liver treats. Carl, at his heaviest of 100 lbs ( he's much slimmer now! ) and Gracie at 75 lbs both go in and out easily. I do keep my back gate locked and shut the doggie door when the yard guy comes. I've had it for 5 years and couldn't live without it!
