I'm so sorry for your loss, each of them are special and loved and missed for just that ... they are special.

Looks like an allergic reaction to me too. Washing him off should help, hope your wipes don't have any alcohol ... that would STING!

SubQ fluids are like an infiltrated IV site and can get red and itchy ... it's an irritant and that's normal. I would keep an eye on it and if it seems to be redder, warmer, spreading or has welts or fluid filled blisters then start worrying and go back to the vet. I'm so glad he seems to be perking up and feeling like eating, hope you both have a relaxing weekend.

Just checking to make sure you and Soul are OK, hope you both have restful nights and that Soul feels more like himself tomorrow. Remember, this has been coming on for a while and will probably take a little time to be better. Hugs, Charla , Gracie Rose and Carl

Oh that is good news! I hope she keeps eating and perks up quickly with the meds. I was reading somewhere just a day or so ago that most greys have borderline low thyroids and thinking that in humans that means weight gain! I was also wondering if she was drinking a lot ...hard to gauge in this heat ... and if she was checked for diabetes. I'm sure your vet has covered all the bases though being that he's an internest.
