  1. "No plain old" UTI for no plain old gal! Get better soon, Loca.
  2. Of course you have our thoughts and prayers. In answer to your question, what if it is something... You will take care of your baby, because he needs you and we are all here for you.
  3. Have you tried Tripette? I feel your pain. I have had 2 dogs who refuse food and it's maddeing.
  4. I know there are some people on this board who use doggy doors and are OK with it. For me, I couldn't do it for all the reasons you express concern about in addition to many other concerns I would have. Can you get someone you trust to come in once a day to give her a walkie or just let her out in back? If money is an issue paying someone, maybe someon you can barter with? Good luck. How about some pics?
  5. Swelling going down is a good beginning. This is so unreal.

Oh no. I am so sorry.
  7. Lora- no matter what I say, nothing will ease the pain, but time. I wish there was something I could say or do. You are in my thoughts. I am so so very sorry for your loss. I know what it feels like to feel like you "beat" it. All of a sudden you get broadsided and things get out of control so quickly. I am so sorry. Run Pain Free Willie. You will be missed.
  8. Thank goodness. I was thinking about you all night.
  9. Tonight Elsie was introdcued to Marybeth, our sweet wonderful and caring vet. Elsie weighs 62 pounds which is her racing weight. She is perfect the way she is. Nothing to gain or lose. She had her labs done for heartworm and her pre op for her dental on Monday. (I KNOW she will be fine, but I do worry not knowing her history) She may have a fractured tooth on the lower left that will have to come out. Otherwise, not too bad, She has some mammary tumors which the vet said is common for broods. She has seen quite a bit of them, not to worry, just keep an eye on. So, all in all, not too bad. I love my Elsie. How have I lived without her all my life? She is a dream. ETA- oops, I almost forgot. We got the droncit to start.
  10. Oh GOD Claudia, not what I expected to hear... ever. I just felt that with your love and dedication, she would prevail. I am so very sorry. Very inadequate words, I know. I am here for you.

  14. I didn't mean it to sound like I was blaming them! No blame. Meant it more like if she was wormed... she still has worms. She had a wonderful and caring owner at the farm she was on.
  15. We'll take what we can get. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.
  16. Ok will do the panacur too but aleady had breakfast (SHE EATS!) so will give tonight with dinner.
  17. Continued good thoughts for Ms. Loca.
  18. Guess we are going to the vet earlier than I thought! thanks. I was given panacur but will hold off on giving it to her.
  19. So much for her being wormed at the farm! In this mornings poop we were able to see the worms. We have the panacur to give her. Is this the right stuff or do we need drontal. DH was the lucky one to see them and he is describing them as white, thic/flat and about 1/4 inch long.
