  1. Becky, I am so sorry. Eagle was such a sweet boy and had the cutest ears It is so hard when one of our hounds leave us, but there is something about losing our 1st hound that makes it the hardest. They are the ones that introduced us into this wonderful world of greythounds. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Godspeed handsome Eagle

  12. Tricia and Burke, I just saw Bee Wiseman's name and could not believe of her passing so soon She had a wonderful life with you both and got to enjoy the ocean one more time. She is painfree now and running with all of our bridge kids. Run free sweet Bee Wiseman
  13. Debbie, I am so sorry, hugs are sent to you and your family. Ringo is painfree now, and can run and play
  14. My only suggestion, would be to pick up the poop as soon as they go. Kerri will sometimes eat poop, but if there is none in the yard she can't get any. Good luck.
  15. I am so sorry for your loss, Godspeed pretty Ivy
  16. It has been 2 years today since I helped Flossie cross the Rainbow Bridge. She lived with cancer for 1 year. I miss and love her so much
  17. I am so sorry you and Olivia had to go through this. A few years back my bridge girl Flossie was attacked by a dog charging out of the front door where it lived. Flossie was hurt pretty bad in the side. Her wounds healed fine, but it did take awhile for her to feel comfortable when a dog would approch us quickly on our walks. She would actually let out a little scream and freeze. I too was very nervous and I know she could feel it. As I learned to be calm she was calm. It took a while, but she learned to enjoy her walks. We never walked by that house again and they only live four doors down from us. Now when we walk I always carry a riding crop in my pocket, if I see a loose dog, I pull it out and am ready to use it as a barrier or strike the dog if I have to.
  18. Kerri and Abel's physicals went well today Kerri got her senior / heartworm blood work done, rabies and lepto shot, and Abel got heartworm blood work done and his eyes checked, he has been rubbing his face lately, eyes look greyt! Both had their poop checked and Kerri had her urine checked. Bought 1yr supply of Interceptor that last me 6 months and 30 days of Rimadyl for Kerri, she has been having some soreness in her front right leg. Walked out of the Vet's office less $607.00 Also renewed Kerri's dog license for 3yrs. another $30.00. We are ready for Dewey Beach now
  19. Abel trances all the time, he steps real high and than extends his front legs out real far, like he is in slow motion. He also arches his tail and just stares into space. I love watching him do this He even does it on our walks when we get close to bushes. Kerri doesn't trance, she just stands in the bushes
