  1. I have been using Advantage for years and have never seen a flea on the dogs. My 2 dogs are 65 lbs and 75 lbs and I split one tube 55 lbs and over between both of them.
  2. I use to use muzzles all the time for Kerri and Abel when they were in the yard or in the van. Since Kerri had the rest of her teeth pulled in Sept, toothless except 4 little teeth in the back none in the front or sides, I don't muzzle her anymore, but Abel still wears his muzzle. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
  3. You could always contact Springtime Inc with your questions, they are very friendly and helpful. I have been using their Joint Health and Fresh Factors for years and I swear by their products. The dogs do greyt on them
  4. I can't help you with this one, my bridge girl Flossie did the same thing for 7 years, she would get so excited she would even spray spit on the screen
  5. Sounds like he'll get a good cleaning out, but I'm sure he will be fine
  6. Kerri has been with me for 3 1/2 yrs, she is always on the couch, but as soon as I sit down next to her, she gets up and goes and lays on one the dog beds or another couch. She is not a cuddle bug, but I love her to death Abel on the other hand has been with me for 1 yr and as soon as I sit on the couch he is on my lap
  7. My senior, Kerri turned 11 this past November, and I can't keep up with her She is very active and playful, but when she is done being a crazy little girl she is out like a light.. My boy, Abel is 6 1/2 and he is very laid back and not as active as Kerri. I think each greyhound is different.
  8. I was raking leaves last weekend, kind of cold outside. Abel wanted to be out with me, Kerri stayed inside where it was warm. I turn around and there is Abel sitting the prettiest sit just watching me, darn I wish I had my camera with me
  9. I have never heard of color being a factor in getting cancer, my first greyhound Flossie was a fawn and cancer took her away from me.
  10. Kerri is my little toothless wonder, she has 3 little teeth left in her mouth, no molars or chewing teeth. She just had 9 teeth removed in Sept. including all her canines. I fed her kibble soaked in water until it was soft and mushy, mixed in a little canned food. The brands of can I use are Verus, Merrick and California Natural. Now that her mouth is healed, she eats her kibble moisten a little, not mushy, she doesn't like it mushy, and a little canned mixed in. She eats better now than she ever did Good Luck with your little one
  11. Rest in peace little Sammie Hugs to your Daughter
  12. Before Greyhounds, I had a Yorkie who lived to be 15. He lost his hearing as he aged. When he was young I taught him commands and tricks by voice and hand signals, this really came in handy when he did lose his hearing. I also would tap the floor when I approched him if he was asleep, that way I wouldn't startle him.
  13. I am so sorry. Godspeed Sweet Paradise
  14. My 2 get either a cookie or some yougart before bed
  15. I was shocked to see Ripley's name in this thread Godspeed beautiful Ripley
  16. One year ago today I helped my beautiful girl cross the bridge. Flossie I miss you so much. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wish that you were still with me
  17. Kathy & Chris, I just saw this, I am so sorry to hear of Missy B's passing, Godspeed little girl
  18. Rita, I will be thinking and praying for Robin and all of you
  19. If it is a partial tear, strict crate rest, might be the way to go. My bridge girl Flossie had a partial tear, we did crate rest for 8 weeks and no running for 4 weeks after that. It felt like forever, but she mended and never had a problem afterwards.
  20. Glad Darcy is home and doing well She is such a sweetheart
  21. It does not seem like it has been 2 years. I love Emmy's picture, she is having so much fun, run free little girl
