Guest Gale Posted August 3, 2003 Share Posted August 3, 2003 Our dear sweet, goofy Griffin suffered a stroke, followed by cardiac arrest this past Thursday. We are still in shock. One minute he was fine and in the next he lost his bowels and use of his legs. He had to be indebated in order to breathe. His prognosis was very bad. We were with our sweet boy as he went to the Bridge. There's some comfort in knowing that Ibis and Griffin are together again but it's not enough to stop our tears. We are devistated and each hour is so very difficult without him. I pray that he knows how much we loved him and that he's happy and "dancing" and has enough stuffies at the bridge. You will, however, find comfort in his memories and the love you gave to him, and that he gave back to you. This will help ease the pain....in time. Yes...there are enough stuffies...and good things to eat...and the love and companionship of those who passed before him.
