stlgrey Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) I got some news back on Ali's recheck on her system panel. Not all is back yet. They told me today that her liver levels are really high compared to last and she has more elevated levels than before. Since I was trying to listen to the vet explain the levels, I got kinda lost. Since they don't know what she has related to the liver levels being so high, we are going to do a liver ultrasound tomorrow. Ugh.....I don't think anything can prepare us when we get news about your dogs or pets that could be pretty bad. Based on what they find, (hopefully its no more than infection) we go from there. Wow, I sure did not want to spend my evening tearful. Hopefully with lots of chanting and prayers to St. Francis, this will work out okay. Any thoughts and prayers are so much appreciated. Try not to think the worst because a lot of times, with a special diet and added meds if needed, it will get under control.
