Guest JeffD Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 HALO SAMANTHA 2000? – 2009 Good Nite Sweet Princess…… You with those Bahama Eyes- SAMI MY LAMI FOREVER .... I had to send another one of my greyhounds to "The Rainbow Bridge" in the wee hours of the morning due to her having a stroke and becoming paralyzed. Sami is the second treasured friend I have lost in the past 2 months and I am kind of shell-shocked this morning.. Sami was a Dutch Bahama grandkid. She was a "SPOOK" and never really raced. She was afraid of everything; men in baseball caps, hardwood and vinyl floors, thunder, lightening, taking a cookie from my hand, eating while anyone else was in the room, relieving herself anywhere but in her own back yard. Sami was a challange and a joy; my VERY SPECIAL GIRL. Sami had Pannus and suffered occasionally from Petit Mal seizures This second loss in less than two months is almost more than I can bear. Together night & day for so many years as a family of 5 and now we are 3. What else can I say? Those of us left behind are all in shock. At least Sami will see lots of familiar faces at The Bridge. You have our deepest sympathy for this second great loss in a short time. Life can be unbelievably harsh sometimes. We're so very sorry.
