What a dog! I'm so glad you found each other. Grandpa was such a character. He was the best tent camper I've ever had at a field trial. He took to it like a natural. I wish I could have gotten to know him better in person, but your photos and stories were wonderful.

I've never known a dog that passed on the "roach gene" like he did. Every last one of his pups that I've hauled have been sacked out on their back by the time we reaced our destination.

Thanks for spoiling him (and his kids!)

Lynn

I'm so sorry for your loss. You were lucky to have such a magnificent boy. I'm sure he is running again like when

he was a young pup.

Sharing your memories of Grandpa is a wonderful way of keeping him with us.

I'll tell Chinghis to wait so Grandpa can catch up, that way, nobody will be alone

Heather and Ken I am so sorry.

Your post was a beautiful tribute to Grandpa. It sounds like he had one amazing and happy life! I remember meeting Grandpa when we came up to pick up some Fish Dogs from you. What a sweet boy he was.
