BootsyCollins
My husband and I decided to scatter Argos's ashes along the trail and in the park where we walked every day. Unbeknownst to us, my sister arranged with our friends to meet us at the park and have a toast to my special boy. She also presented us with a wonderful memory book from her dog Guinness to Argos. It was a very special day for a very special boy. I cannot think of a more fitting tribute. All the dogs signed his book (with human help): Argos's girlfriend, Ella showed up in her version of racing silks: Argos's whippet buddies Nigel & Abby were there: And here are some pics of the wonderful book that Guinness made: Edited November 11, 2008 by CMoon75 Quote Christie and Bootsy (Turt McGurt and Gil too) Loving and missing Argos & Likky, forever and ever. ~Old age means realizing you will never own all the dogs you wanted to. ~

BootsyCollins
Know that your GT extended family was with you in spirit. Thank you! The whole time we were there I was thinking how much you'd all appreciate the day. My husband gave a great tribute to Argos, to all companions, and to greyhounds in particular. I was thinking "GT would love this!!"
