Trista, my little monkey who just turned 12 with her brother Trevor on Sept. 29th, left for the bridge at 11:30 this morning. We are all just heartbroken to say the least. She was the smallest greyhound with the biggest personality. She was the tomboy who wasn't crazy about modeling hats but stepped up to the plate when her sister Tatum left for the bridge. When the sparkle left in her eyes and she no longer wanted to eat I knew it was time. Signs indicated liver failure and her drastic weight loss indicated cancer. As hard as it was to say goodbye I know she is now pain free, the sparkle is back in her eyes and she is reunited with her Mom, Bambi Bay, brothers Truman & Jammer and sister Tatum.
