Guest tarasue Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Well, it's been a very, very sad day here for me. Will was put to sleep about 2 hours ago because he had a very large tumor in his liver. I had taken him to the vet this morning because he had not been eating well and was loosing weight and he had a spot underneath the skin that looked bloody. When they tried to x-ray him there was so much fluid inside they couldn't see anything and they told me that the only way was to do surgery but, cautioned that they may need to do put him to sleep if/what they found was serious. I was hoping it was something not so serious like food poisoning or something...I was very sad to find out that it was a large tumor. When the vet called me and told me that there was nothing they could do, my heart sank...I cried so hard for my boy and even now, the tear are welling up... I am at a total loss as to how this could have happened to my sweet boy...he was most adorable and expressive guy...he knew he was at home the first day I got him and he was all roached out within' fifteen minutes of being in his forever home. He ran is little figure eight zoomies around the love seat and dining room column. I had taught him how to catch food in mid air and he use to jump up to snatch it right out of the air!! He truly was an amazing guy... I hope Tara and all the rest have helped him find his way...because that boy found his way into my heart.
