    My stuff sits in an open box on the counter. Sigh. A big week for me is one without a trip to the clinic. This week I lasted until 3:30 Friday afternoon... I hope that's the end of it for you for a while.

    I keep tylocine in stock due to Minnie's IBD and (with my vet's encouragement) often use it for diarrhea. I think every dog in the house has been on it at one time or another. I don't think I've ever seen sillyness as a side effect. I too suspect that he's just feeling better.

    I'm so glad he's doing better. FWIW, when Cora (then 9 1/2) had her femur fixed (I realize it's a completely different op), it took about a week for the swelling and bruising to subside, even with physio/massage by the vet techs. He'll probably have stocky legs for a few more days at least.

    I'm hoping that she recovers quickly, and that the cause is easily treated.
