  1. White chocolate contains Theobromine, but in such small amounts that Theobromine poisoning is unlikely.
  2. either - white will be easier to find. Can basically do a 1 to 1 replacement. If you want to keep with the grain free, you should be able to find potato flour - maybe.
  3. I'd have a better set of xrays done if nobody can figure out the spot on this xray before I did an MRI.
  4. It's not the image size that is the issue. It is the file size.
  5. Um, just a suggestion, don't block Trudy :lol I can go in and unblock me. If you want to block me, fine, but you still need to be able to get info from us, so best not to block your Admin and Moderators
  6. The door size should be fine. It will likely be the ramp that will cause issues. Our door is also in a window and is about 8" up off the floor. Wait until she gets home and see if it works for her. You may not need to upgrade to a taller door.
  7. So after a year of this, the vast majority of people starting new threads in this Pet Merch area still aren't digging up their old thread for us leaving us to search for them to remove them. If you are a supporter, you can edit your title to indicate something new and then add to your thread and it puts it back to the first page. Even if you aren't, you can add a post to your thread and it goes back to the first page.
  8. The amount of nutmeg you will use is fine. Even if you accidentally dump in some extra.
  9. Dog door training time again. Remove the flap for a bit or find a way to pin it up/open/out of the way. Get them used to going in and out of the door without a flap touching them. Once they are comfortable using it that way, you can try to drop the flap or find something else that is very light weight to hang in its place for a bit. My Ryan was quick with learning that using the door on his own meant he could go out and pee without me having to open a door for him. Jet learned if she ducked under Ryan, he'd open the door for her and she'd not have to touch it. Years later, she still doesn't like the flap to touch her, but she uses it anyway. Asking Jet if she wanted to go for a walk when she was outside and I was inside with her leash - that was what got her through on her own. Ryan worked well with treats at first. I had to push them both in and out a few times as well.

  15. I just ordered from EntirelyPets (my go to online place for many things). Free shipping and a 15% off coupon. I wasn't too thrilled with the spray (not that I'm thrilled with the topspot version either ). And Jet took a while to dry from it, even laying out in the sun When I tried to order it this summer, everybody was out of stock and then I remembered I had some frontline from NY still stashed away. Just used the last of that last week.
  16. Still working for us, so we'll keep using it.
  17. Where do you buy it for a good price?
  18. Greytalk is a greyhounds as pets board. Yes, we have ONE racing thread for people following a dog they have or hope to adopt. The racing stuff is kept in there (or is supposed to be and we try to make sure it is). Beyond that, we don't allow racing stuff on GT other than the occasional quick question an adopter has. So combine abuse and racing, no, it isn't something that belongs on Greytalk. And no, it isn't because we are trying to hide abuse that happens in the racing world. This just isn't the forum for it. Abuse is abuse and grab a sensational title as a subject heading, the thread goes away instead of just being closed. No need for it on Greytalk. Every abuse thread posted on GT has led to the exact same thing "I am going to bash their head in." "that person deserves to be torn limb from limb." and other such types of 'hostile' responses. Anger that does nothing to help the situation. Take that energy and do something on a local level to prevent it from happening again to another animal. Besides, posting in the announcements forum didn't really do anything this time other than getting people to use the report button and refrain from responding (so I guess it helped some, but didn't prevent the 15+ threads we removed). So even if posted here, we'd still see it elsewhere. Oh yeah, it isn't just greyhound abuse, it's ALL animal abuse that isn't allowed. So not really "some word that isn't coming to mind" to post a link for each and every abuse story that gets posted on GT (and then removed)
  19. Then what is the point of the Terms of Service that each board has you read and agree to before you register an account? We don't write them for our health. We don't write them for the fun of it. We certainly didn't write them because we had nothing better to do with our time. And not only did I post a thread in the Announcements Forum before I started suspending people, I've posted several reminders through the summer about this same matter. So from my view, I gave plenty of warnings.
  20. You either sent or received a friend request. That seems to automatically generate a PM/personal conversation - either when you add a friend or somebody adds you as a friend. Nobody should be able to start a PM/personal conversation with anybody that isn't a "member" or "community supporter" If you have a PM that you can't get - it is about 'friends'
  21. Only a few people said they searched first before posting. There were 2 posted/showing at the same time this morning. There were multiples posted/showing at the same time last week.
  22. The no abuse thing means no posts in remembrance either. Several people were kind enough to ask if they could start one and saved themselves a vacation from GT.
  23. Guess this needs to be the one seen from the main page again...
  24. I don't recall any side effects from the gabapentin with Ryan but also didn't notice any effects period with it when he had that huge clot in his neck and screaming in pain.
  25. You shouldn't need to give so much ice cream that adding weight would be an issue. Just a small quick sugar snack. A cookie, whatever, just as long as there is a bit of sugar in it.
