  1. I'm so sorry. I remember well your journey with Tiny.
  2. Eva, Jack did not have a catastrophic fracture. There may have been a hairline one but it was just at a point I was no longer able to see a pain free quality of life even with more drugs that ended his life. With Jill she was diagnosed with a hairline fracture and much bone loss. I let her go then. But neither of them shattered their bone. Most of the palliative dogs on GT do not suffer that.
  3. This is bone cancer not arthritis. While supplements can be helpful, palliative care with aggressive pain control will always be needed with osteosarcoma. Eva I am so very sorry. I remember your Carrier's story very well. And since then both my jack and Jilly have been taken by the monster. I hope for many many precious good days with Bailey.
  4. I'm so sorry Pam. Run with the wind Archie.
  5. I'm so very sorry. What a shocking loss. But oh what a life he had with you Jonathon. I bet he would not have changed a single minute of it.
  6. yes Kari lots and lots of pictures. Make each and every day a lifetime. Spoil him and even through the terrible grief try , try to find a way to to enjoy every good minute because you will replay those in your heart for a very long time.
  7. How long did you have? I realize each case if different but I'm thinking it's going to be soon. I had 6 months with him after diagnosis. We were very lucky. He was on Tramadol and Meloxicam.
  8. I'm so very sorry Kari. That was exactly where my Jack's tumour was. We had a good long time after diagnosis together. I hope you do too.
  9. Oh lord he's sweet. I tried the lifting with Jonah. He was horrified! I have never seen a greyhound spread his 4 legs so far apart and backpedal so hard in my life. Congrats with Zuri.
  10. That is wonderful news Chris. Keep up the good work Dude sweetheart.
  11. I am still so shocked Andrea. I am going to miss her. She was just the sweetest and happiest girl. She was also so very lucky to have found you after all she had been through. You have a blast at the bridge Elly girl. Say hi to Jilly if you see her K? Hugs to you my friend
  12. We're here too waiting to hear and offering support and love.
  13. Just here to let you know I am thinking of you and Dude, Chris.
  14. Chris I'm so very sorry to hear about Dude. I know how shocking it is and how stunned this blow leaves you. If there is anything please ask. I'm thinking of you. Kisses for Dude.

    Strider

I'm so sorry. Strider will be missed by so many. And I know the whole in your heart is huge.
  17. I hope this day has been a sweet one Jen. I know how it is speeding by. I'm thinking of the two of you and wishing Neyla a most peaceful journey.
  18. Hmm well I guess Jonah has only two. He barks at every dog he sees when we are out walking. Not an aggressive bark or fearful bark, just an uber annoyingly interactive bark. And I don't think at 10 years old, he was ever taught any real leash manners at all in his previous home. While he doesn't pull at all, ever, he walks like a drunken sailor. Or he'll start out walking eagerly ahead of me, which I need him to do cause I can't have three and me on winter paths side by side. Then he'll stop dead as if to say are you still coming mum? and if I'm not watching, over I go. Other than those he is adorable. Jessie doesn't do anything wrong and neither does Josh. Hmmm. That seems blinkered of me.....
  19. I'm so sorry Donna. It hurts so much to do the loving thing! But your Logan was so well loved and that handsome man is healthy and strong again waiting with the rest. I'm thinking of you and Klaus. Rest well Logan.
