  1. Stacy I feed TOTW too and so far no problems except I can't get it at the moment. I picked up a bag of Acana Ranchland food. Kibble is a small part of what I feed my dogs. I might stay with the Acana. Not cheap by any means, but they love it.
  2. Oh no Robbie! I am so sorry for your loss.
  3. I am certainly no expert but I had that same issue with Crackerman when he came home. He was always allowed to wander around the kennel with JT while he was racing. When he went to Signature, he had his own space. When he came home to live with us, everything was his. All the beds, all the toys, all the bones. Everything. That was all he knew. If he wanted to run over to the window to look out and he had to run over a hound or two on the way he did. This lasted until Dodger and Pooter got sick of it and they put him in his place. He is still a big, rude, clumsy galoot but he is trying. If he doesn't try quite hard enough he gets a growl or a mouthful of teeth in his face. He is learning. I am thinking your girls will eventually get to the point they are sick of getting run over and put a stop to it too. Could be wrong since I don't know your dogs. That was my experience though. Good luck.
  4. I am so very sorry for your loss. Rest well Hurley.

So very sorry for your loss Deb. Rest well Sam.
  6. I am so sorry Kyle and family. We will always, always think of Charlie when we are on Parsons. Rest well sweet boy. You fought the good fight.
  7. Good thought for Jack Kyle. Sorry you guys are having such troubles.
  8. I am so sorry Bella had to leave Dee.
  9. Oh no Cheryl! I am so sorry for your loss. Elvis is one of my all time favorite GT hounds. Rest well Elvis.
  10. Pam Chris is probably working but when Crackerman was at Signature last year, he ate Diamond Adult. Now he gets a combination of raw, home cooked and TOTW High Prairie. He has shown an intolerance to and dislike of chicken. Everything else seems to work for him.
  11. Happy 1st Birthday sweet baby boy. We miss you. Hugs to you Tiffany.
  12. Close the bedroom door. That is what I do for the very same reason.
  13. Flupascrackerbox raced most of his career on a well healed hock fracture. He also has a dropped muscle. My Artful Dodger has a dropped muscle. Almost 8 year old Pooter has a recurring front wrist issue. Nobody is limping. If he were mine he would be at the vet for films.
  14. Be careful what you wish for. Mine never slow down. Run through the house, run in the yard, run on walks. Run, run, run. They do stay pretty fit though.
  15. I do use an equine supplement for my hounds but it is not on your list. http://www.horsemenstackinc.com/site/content/prod.asp?id=114
  16. Good point. I'll try one on all three dogs and see what happens.
  17. 1) Krissy, I agree. The people who disagree will never change their minds. I will never change mine. There you have it. 2) I didn't sign an agreement of any kind. 3) See the above poster who lost her dog out a gate that she neglected to notice was open before she let her greyhound loose in an "enclosed" ball field. It was enclosed. Except that it wasn't. I do believe Mike McCann could quote some numbers of how many greyhounds are lost in Amber Alert THAT way vs a hound being lost off leash. Lesson to take away; walk the perimeter of any field you are planning on using to run your dog BEFORE you let him loose. Check for holes in the ground while you are at it. 4) Jey, I agree and mileage definitely does vary. 5) Donna, you are correct. The OP never did ask about off leash. Apologies OP ( who never has come back to the thread) 6) Carry on.
  18. Do you guys put the collars on your dogs when they are outdoors and then take them off inside?
  19. Amen! And if you lose that boy, just check my house Get in line girl. I would have to lose him first though wouldn't I ?
