  1. My choice to comment has nothing to do with you Chad. I want the OP to know you are not the do all and end all of greyhound ownership. Nobody here is. There are options. There are choices. People have different ways of doing things and those things work for them. You are aware of the way you come across on this board. You're proud of it. Bully for you. It is rarely helpful. Though on occasion you have great advise. Carry on.
  2. Why would I care about your response or your opinion? A personal decision.
  3. A greyhound who did race and was in fact a 2 X All American can be "trained" to be off leash. It is a personal decision that involves many factors.
  4. Well just crap Sis! Rest well Knuckles.
  5. I do know how those things work. Good luck with your pup.
  6. TOTW is coming out with puppy formulas but not until the fall. I would feed the pup TOTW adult until the puppy formula comes out and switch then if you want to. That is what TOTW suggests customers do. Good luck! Ya gonna tell us about the puppy? Hmmmmm?
  7. Nope I notice no difference in my hounds. The pack of coyotes running across the back pasture are easier to see though.
  8. A long and happy life well lived with you Tina. I am sorry Booker had to leave. Rest well sweet boy.
  9. Good to hear you have a great relationship with your vets Judy. We do too and for that I am thankful.

    Dino

Knowing it was coming does not make it any easier when the time arrives. I am so sorry for your loss Ryan. Rest well Dino.
  11. I use chicken thighs only Sage. I do them for 10 hours on low but I take the bones out. I did try the 24 hour method one time but the bones were still too hard for my liking. That was in a brand new crockpot. Good luck! Edit to correct after I read vj's post. Yes, I do mine on low as well, but only for 10 hours and remove the bones.
  12. Thanks Lucy, I think that is what I have to do as well. Hair mask huh? The things I learn from you guys.
  13. Not intentionally but I bet I am getting some oil on it. My hair is extremely fine. Doesn't take much to weigh it down. I love the coconut oil for my skin though. Great tip!
  14. I have been using coconut oil on my face and throat. I really like it for my skin, but it seems to have turned my hair instantly oily. Anyone ever hear of that or is it a coincidence?
  15. I am sorry for your loss Jayne. Rest well Bacchus.
  16. A life spectacularly well lived and well loved. Riddick was so, so lucky to spend his life with you. Every dog should be so fortunate to live his life as he did. Being a dog.

    My Baby Is Gone

Oh my gosh no! Not your sweet baby boy. I am so terribly sorry.
  18. I leave a large bowl of water out for my 3. I am out of the house 10 - 11 hours a day. We have a dog door.
  19. I am so very sorry for your loss.
  20. There are people who have managed aggressive hounds before successfully. I will be the bad guy and say I would never have a dog like that in my house. There are simply too many nice hounds out there for me to wear myself ragged trying to manage one with serious behavioral problems. I am out of the house too many hours a day to deal with a dog like that and I would never, ever subject my other hounds to a dog such as you describe. I do get that you love this dog and I am sure you have been agonizing over returning her. Only you can decide if you want to try to work with her. I would not. Best wishes in whatever you decide to do.
  21. You know I don't get it. I really like you. Who the heck did you pizz off? Many good thoughts coming your way for Gia and you.
  22. A life very well lived and very well loved with you Mary. I am so sorry Zoe had to leave.
