  1. Still waiting to hear from Patti. They should be getting close now.
  2. We don't usually do anything. If they don't bother him, they don't bother me. He's really tolerant if I mess with them, though
  3. Well, I may be prejudiced, but if at all possible I'd want to be at OSU, too. If she bleeds, they can handle it!
  4. Just sent you a PM. Our home is open to you and Pave. I run down to OSU everyweek with Leeanna and her chemo anyway. We'll help you do this.
  5. I'm so sorry. Osteo has devastaed our families.
  6. We'll try to plan on that. Weany is not good again today. They thought the Carbo was not agreeing with her but I think it is the darn Fentanyl patches. She's just wierd!
  7. So glad she is doing better! Wish I could have seen you guys last week but Weany was having a bad couple of days.
  8. Poor Alan! I had a Bottoms Up leash for Jake but these canbe very awkward.
  9. After not only surviving but fully recovering from liver failure last year, Leeanna has now been diagnosed with osteo. She's almost 12 and very wimpy and sensitive. I suspect she is arthritic in her hip so we're not doing amp this time. She had her first radiation and chemo today.
  10. Average? Is there such a thing? I've had a 6, a 13 and now an 11
  11. I noticed Leeanna doing that back legs together thing. I saw some stiffness in the last few months. The ortho guy says he doesn't find anything but I know what I see at home! Hopfully he's just getting arthritic. Its a bummer to go to the doctor on your birthday! That calls for a cheeseburger!
  12. I have never had much luck with diapers. If it only during sleep, I use those bed pads for people, the disposable ones. They're cheaper than the pet training pads and cheapest at Wal-mart. I cover the bed then cover the pads with an old comforter. I have to wash the comforter every day but it saves the bed.
  13. My guys start holding up their feet after only a few minutes in this weather. They are out and back in in about 4-5 minutes. We're "fair weather" walkers!
  14. Liz and Jake. Littermates. Liz left right before their 14th birthday and Jake right after.
  15. Patrick and Chrissy, I just saw this. I'm so sorry Speck is gone. I still remember the day Gino and Speck came to visit Ohio and played in the woods.

    Dem Bones

Oh Nancy, I'm so sorry. That's just what happened here. I was just looking at Bones on the calendar.
  17. Fingers crossed! Maybe you could soak it for 5 min. in epsom salts and warm water a few times a day.
  18. Angel's hemangiosarcoma appeared in the thigh muscle. Further searches couln'd find it anywhere else. 4 rounds of chemo made it disappear. Old Jake had one on his toungue! It came back due to left over margins. The second time it was DX as something else by a different lab. But we couldn't find it anywhere else in him either.

    Radar Doyle

I'm so sorry. What a sad time for you.
  20. Yea she's home! Now Heal Mags, Heal! She has the same Onco. that Angel has, Dr. Kenji Hosoya. I asked after her yesterday when I was down there. (yet again!)
  21. I make mine with a fabric baby diaper sew in but he wasn't a big soaker.
  22. I can hardly believe this is happening again! Hopfully she will have much more time with you now that its been removed! Angel spent Friday and Saturday at OSU in ICU. They probably saw each other.
  23. Therapaws makes a soft topped slipper with rubber soles. Much more comfy than the regular boot if they will keep them on. I had mats like Susie's across the bare floor like runways. A pain but it worked. Too bad your boy has an aversion to them.
