Angel has has occasional bouts of incontinance her whole life with me. Sine it was so sporadic I chose not to do anything. Now that she's older and has other illnesses it started to happen every night. She'd be soaked every morning. Since she started PPA it only happens maybe once a week and is so small I don't always see it. She takes Norvasc and Enalpril for high blood pressure also. She will turn 13 in 2 months.
Jake had trouble with one all summer once. It did finally heal just short of having to do the scratching. Then he got a scratch on the other eye from having a growth removed from his eylid and the stitches touching the cornea!
Thank goodness Dee is home. How long do they expect the biopsy results to take? I was thinking Pave' was having her surgery early this morning. Guess I heard wrong. They threw a lot of information out there to digest.
I don't think they carry it but most health food stores do. It's helped quite a few here. If you want to try it and can't find it, pm me and I'll have it sent to you overnight
Boondog says you can get it at Whole Foods in bulk.
Red Star brand Nutritional Yeast Ingredients: Inactive Dry Yeast, niacin, thiamin, hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrocloride and vitamin B12 Looks just like a powdered cheese!
Is it possible that his medications may be upsetting his tummy? The only thing that helped when the girls were not eating last summer was variety. And you never knew what choices to offer each day! Angel did always eat beef liver though. I'd just brown it in a pan and chop it up. I'd make little piles of food in her dish-she didn't want anything mixed together. Some days it was dry cat food she wanted.
Well, I can tell you that the quality of life for a tripod is no less than for a healthy dog. You would not have "ruined" her life by taking her leg. Sure, the proceedure will be hard for her to go through but is she is otherwise healthy and strong she will do fine. Its hard to let go of the doubt but what ever you do you can't look back. Its such a small chance that its something else, but it IS something in there making her hurt.
That sound right. A former foster has a problem with a cut on the edge of a toe pad at a high stress point. It will heal but opens up easily. The only thing that seems to help is keeping it moisturized even when it has healed
Thinking lots about "the girl" this morning. And for future patients you'll be glad to know there is a Dr. Couto Junior. I don't know what he will end up specializing in, but Dr. Galvao is fabulous! He has such compassion for his patients. He's in onco right now, I think. Dr. C has a name for him too. The Young One! When we were consulting with them both about Leeanna Dr. C made the comment that it was a sad affair that my dog's health was in the hands of two South Americans. I'm glad it is!
Just got home. Patti got on the road about 30 minutes ago. Figure about 7 hours til she gets home. Pave' happily went back to the back of the clinic to spend the night. She's having a good time so far. So many people to schmooze and dags to sniff.
