  1. Give him a hug from me! Sending prayers for an uneventful recovery.
  2. Doesn't surprise me I order from Omaha all the time.
  3. No, they can't handle the heat well. No body fat. Extreme temps are dangerous. My one boy loves to lay outside when it is 50 degrees out!
  4. http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=231694
  5. I am so sad I feel like I knew Jed & Ripple both. Remember this picture in the calendar? Run like the wind sweet one
  6. Run like the wind sweet boy
  7. No Sending lots of prayers. He'll adjust fine!
  8. I've used the shot once, when I ran my guys up to a shot clinic years ago. Don't want to again...... All the vets I know use the nasal only.
  9. That is one vaccine I will use. Not the shot, but up the nose. I am sure there are some, but I've not heard of any reactions/problems with this vaccine.
  10. August 5, 2009 I asked if Winslow was back swimming: Ahhh swimming. Winslow didn't forget a thing. Even remembered to step on the scale when he got there (I don't think it's accurate anymore, but he did it anyway). He went right into the pool. I only had him do 10 laps today and will increase it gradually. 10 today was like 20 3 months ago. Time to rebuild. He's now had lunch and is well into his afternoon nap. Glynis
  11. At the very least, a radiologist should read the xrays. It's obvious to me, that your vet isn't up to date with treatment. There are many who last over the average of 14 months if the amp is done before lung mets and you also do chemo. I understand about not doing an amp (I have lost two to osteo and I did not amputate). However, properly medicating is imperative (or however you spell that). How old is he? (the grey, not the vet ) edited: I see 11. That is not too old. Depends on the kind of tumor and where it is exactly and the lungs.
  12. If he is in pain, call the vet. The meds should be working. I cannot p.m. you or email you. You can email me if you want: Burpdog@msn.com
  13. Many vets underdose tramadol. Ask if you can go up to 2 every 8 hours. It's possible he can't do either rimadyl or tramadol. The next step is morphine and it can be combined with tramadol. Did a specialist read the xrays?
  14. We stay hurting and they are partying and able to run like the wind once again. Sending my sympathy. I know how much it hurts
  15. You could try some enzymes and see if it straightens out. I remember when Shadow had one bout of pancreatitis, he was on enzymes for 3 months then was able to get off.
  16. So many of us know how you feel! I would want to know so I could keep her comfortable with medications for as long as the time is left, if in fact, it is lung mets. Bodie had lung mets and lasted months. Longer than any of the vets thought he would. You just don't know. Enjoy whatever the time is, be it a day or a year or more.
  17. Maybe if it's kept cool. You may see crystals in the urinalysis.
