    I wouldn't take him to the vet you feel uncomfortable with except as a last resort. I wish I had that silver bullet for you, but I don't. I would take him for an ultrasound, if that hasn't been done. for Beau and for you.

    I am glad the gurgley tummy has stopped! I don't know what to say about the non eating. Some dogs (and people) are just not into food. Can you separate him and leave the food out for him to snack on when you are gone? Or will he only eat it "fresh"? Maybe it will get better over time, I hope so

    Baby steps are actually good when his system has been so upset for so long. Flagyl is a wonderful drug for MOST dogs. I am so sorry Beau was one of the few it actually makes worse. I hope he is now on the road to recovery

    Glad to hear, no cancer! I think acupuncture will be a big help, too bad you can't send Rennie and your DH to the same one

    I am so sorry to hear Alan is poorly. Can you use a towel to help him until you get a sling? I wish I had some more helpful advice!

    I do know how frustrating it is when they won't eat! I wish I had an answer for you, have you tried Ensure?
