  4. I suspect that Piper probably had started having seizures before I adopted him when he was 2, however the adoption group doesn't seem to have been aware of them. Thus I did not knowingly adopt a special needs dog. His known seizures started after he'd been with me for about 9 weeks. Oddly enough, I've had the care of 2 epileptic cats and one other epileptic dog, and now Piper. In the overwrought emotions when Piper's seizures first started, I told the vet tearfully that I was beginning to feel like an epilepsy carrier. --Lucy

  20. Poor sweetheart. It is so hard when they are obviously in pain. I hope that your vet will soon be able to resolve whatever is going on with your boy.
