It was free ETA: We sent the x-rays to OSU and discussed Loca via email. We weren't see "in person".

Has Ranger been test for tick borne disease?

Dr. Couto and the other vets read Loca's xrays a few years ago; read two different sets. He got back to me very quickly and found that my local vet had misdiagnosed Loca with bone cancer (not osteo). The OSU consult was the best thing I ever did.

Phene ate much better after some teeth were pulled. He had also lost weight, which he has gained back post dental. I just upped the amount of food he was getting. Good luck!

OMG, Lora, I'm so very sorry! What a tragedy! It's so heartbreaking when things like that happen; events that are completely out of our control. Lora, you did not let Cake down. Not at all. You have no way of knowing what would have happened if the fire alarm had been monitored. You gave Cake and Gussie a wonderful life, and that's all that really matters. Lora, please, please let us know if you need anything, OK? Promise?

Wow, it's hard to believe it's been two years. I remember how happy Bonnie Twist looked at that Dewey where you made Loca's cake. She is missed by so many of us.

I remember the post about Mrs. T in that "Oldest Neediest" thread. I'm so thrilled that she had the opportunity to live such a happy life with you, and I'm equally sorry that she's gone.
