    By chance did your Vet check his anal glands? When they are inflamed a dog will tuck tail or just act uncomfortable...not all dogs scoot to relieve the glands. Just a thought.

    Gee I thought you were talking about Molleigh Her gums bleed, even with the petlife gel....we are doing antibiotics once a month and it seems to help...just a certain type of bacteria in her mouth, her teeth are not that bad and she has not lost any yet.

    A difference of opinion between the Radiologist and Surgeon may be a good thing. It means further info is needed for that clear diagnosis. I have not dealt with osteo but have with the broken hock and they do heal. Continued prayers for you all.
