  1. I know what you mean. I received an immediate sense of special joy from just looking at her pictures in the slide show. What a remarkable, lovely lady. I am so sorry she had to cross over but she definitely has left some of her special joy for us to remember her by forever more.
  2. The biggest thing I learned from experience is to be patient. They have to learn how to learn- that is what is really taking the time. Once they get that you're off to the races! Goldie took MONTHS to learn to sit. But after that it was all down hill. He would QUICKLY learn anything I asked him to after that- rolling over, many other things and my favorite-he would sit up on his hind feet like little dogs do. It took him a little while to build up the muscles to do it but he understood and did it happily. It was quite impressive to see a big male greyt sit up and beg like a chihuahua. So just be patient. They have never been asked to learn like this before and they've got to figure it out- but once they do- no problem.

    My Boy T

My heart breaks for you. I lost my soul mate to DIC as well. Having also lost one to osteo I can say I know how utterly devastating DIC is. It is so quick and final you don't even get the chance to fight back. At least with osteo you have time to try and fight it. There is even the possiblility of victory. But DIC is so sudden swift and deadly there is not even the chance to say good bye. But even so it can't really take T. It can only take his body. His spirit -the real T- will be with you always. For love is as strong as death…. Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can the floods drown it. Song of Solomon 8:6-7
  8. ZOOMIES!!!! So wonderful that Jaynie is zooming and killing stuffies -talk about a MERRY HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
  9. Wonderful pictures and such loving captions- you just couldn't miss all the love. And it most definitely is not "silly" to wish her goodnight every night- she will be with you always. Only her body died- not her spirit which is the real Gwennie. Take comfort in her presence. Remain open minded and she may send even more signs you will notice. Thank's so much for sharing her with us. For you: For Gwennie:
  10. Happy Birthday beautiful Ember. I'll bet bridge birthday parties are just too cool-full of healthy happy houndies having fun.

    Thank You

I have observed that sometimes animals will "pick" particular people- loving people who are strong and understand if only on a spiritual level. I know from painful experience that we have absolutely no control over when they leave. We may think we do but we don't, and sometimes that is a painful lesson. He had to cross over when he did to fulfill requirements of his spiritual journey. Though you were a participant-he selected you-you had no control over the outcome. You always acted with total love- that's why he picked you. Always be grateful for the time -short though it might have been-that you were blessed with his earthly presence. I'm sure his spirit will always be with you. I'm so sorry for the pain you are feeling. I know your love will sustain you- he did too- thats why he picked you. Perhaps you were helping an angel on a heavenly mission?Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 NIV
