  1. Cletus you're rite... turkey does taste like chikken... well sort of butt harder to catch. Did you have fun coloring?
  2. If there was any bank robbed anywhere in the west, they would blame Jessie James. So, it appears poor Cletus has become the Jessie James of chikken mayhem
  3. Although most of the time I had three, I've had as many as four, all females (as the result of serial foster fails :D). I fed them all at the same time. There were no squabbles or attempts to steal another hound's food (although it did require the occasional verbal reminder). Walking four could be a bit of a challenge with two leashes in each hand. Fortunately, I have a fenced in yard, so most daily walks weren't a requirement. They all got along, but one thing I did notice. They seem to "pair off". It was something that I didn't notice that much until I went back through my photo archives.
  4. Three of my girls (all angels now) were sired by Fortress and so also trace back to Im Slippy who was Fortress's sire. Nadia (race name Waya) had the most interesting dam line. She has a bitch in her direct line belonging to the Duke of Leeds (the 10th I think). Funny thing is that I only found that out after I nicknamed her the Duchess of Blackwood. PS: That's Her Grace in my avatar pic
  5. We could all learn a lesson in getting along from these three
  6. Happy birthday Buster. And happy birthday at the bridge the one and only Paddy Alvin. Enjoy the bacon bar.
  7. Colonel Cletus was probably thinking "This chikken doesn't look rite." Butt, you can tell he's been hanging out with the hounds.
  8. As Inspector Clouseau might say... I knew that
  9. I never knew the kennel name of my first hound. I named her Honey and she learned it very quickly. My others were returns that I fostered (and failed ). I only changed the name of one, but that was technically a nickname.
  10. I have a four foot fence. None of the greyhounds that have been here (seven adoptees and three fosters), none made any attempt to jump the fence.
  11. A very happy birthday #12 Miss Bea. You wear your years with grace. Um, maybe you should give Cletus his treat in an ice cream cone. That might be tastier than the cup
  12. He's the perfect "bring to werk" dog. It may have been "Bring your dog to werk day" for you, but for Cletus is was "Bring your chikken to werk" day Good thing you don't work for KFC
  13. A very happy 14 Miss Lexie. You wear your years with unmatched grace.
  14. Aiden 1-4, do KNOT flock around with Cletus's hens
