  1. Glad all seems to be going well. I learned the bread trick on GT. It was said whenever something sharp is or may be consumed use the bread to coat sharp pieces (this is for protection but not in lieu of a vet)
  2. Give him several pieces of bread It helps coat the glass if he did swallow. Are you sure he didn't drop it. Good luck
  3. My foster is 2. As long as she gets a walk during the day 30/40min & play session in yard 15 min all is fine but if I skip a day she is wild
  4. How is your pup doing? Yes I would have gone. Greys skin tears easly so it is much easier to deal with if it is closed
  5. Checking to see if you found out what it was
  6. Prayers. Glad you put the runners down. My bridge anger Psi snapped his femur by sliding on my floor. He had bone cancer but I never knew. He was limping did X-rays ( just not high enough on the leg so bet just thought it was a strain.)
  7. Good luck. I spent 2 yrs dealing with happy tail issues. I finally had to have 7" taken off. Once it healed we never had an issue
  8. Fingers crossed this will be the fix. Then he & his owner can continue on & have a wonderful life
  9. My foster is dealing with this right now. My friend who is a vet tec said it was a reaction to one of the internal sutures. Told me to keep area clean and it most likely will resolve it self. If not they may have to remove the suture ( said it was common)
  10. I use fitted sheets over the beds then I wash them weekly. I have an extra set and just swap them out
  11. I personally always do away training with My fosters. Even tho they have other hounds with them. I usually do it for 2day & up to 30 min( I sit outside my back door so I can hear but they don't know I'm there. I would look up on the web away training. I find also it is important not to be to give them affection every time you see them & when they come up to you. This usually is only something I do for the first month. This is just what I do to make sure they aren't so attached to me & freak when I leave. But that said you being relaxed is the best for you & your hound. Good luck you will love it
  12. Yep peroxide only once at the beginning. After that it does more damage than helps. Muzzle with poop guard/ or duct tape at the end. I also use baby socks to keep clean but allow to breathe. I use vet wrap or those Velcro things that you use around cords at the top & fold sock over so they can't pull off if not muzzled. Good luck
  13. Only problem I see with any boot is them comming off. If Cassie runs around in her Thera paw it will come off
  14. I agree. Hugs to you & your hound
  15. Wonderful. Prayed for a full recovery
