  1. I agree with you. Let him do what he wants. My beloved Snowman was dx with ostio. He LOVED to run after his ball. I could have not let him and had him longer BUT I threw the ball till one day he tripped & caused hairline fractures in his leg. After that it just swelled and it was just days before it was too painful & he no longer did the 3 things on my list (like Judy's for jilly I knew it was time to let him go. Good luck. But I think it is ALWAYS good to be prepaired

  3. My first dog was food aggressive ( just with other dogs) he is no longer with me but I am still in the habit (and probably always will) of separating their eating areas @ always supervise meals & any treats
  4. How long have you had her? Have you done "away training". You can do a search about it on this site. I find it a required training for all greys. You may only have to do it a few days or a few weeks or a few months. Good luck

  8. My crazy friend was moisturizing her dogs paws. They were nice & soft BUT he couldn't walk cause his feet hurt. So yep don't moisturize.
  9. All 3 of my males are this way & it's was two passed at 10&11 with no issues. Swoop my current is 6 1/2 with no issues
  10. You can also try training her. It works the brain which as well wears them out
