  1. My Lady I will miss you - your mom sent me so many pictures and every morning I would wake up and go to the puter for another update on you or a new picture. I was proud to be your anutie and loved you like my own. Auntie Beryl was very proud of her little soldier who fought a hard battle and wore her soldier coat with pride and dignity. I know you are running free at The Bridge with no pain and on all four of those big hoofers that momma said you had.. edited as I could not see or spell through my tears
  2. I have two one gallon dispensers and fill them up every day for 3 pups 2 males and a female. Sometime I think they are not coming up for air
  3. I have watched him poop so I think I am safe but I swear he always has a reserve. I have seen him poop in the am and after his 4 pm feed but if I leave for an hour or so after 7 pm I will find poop on the bed I have in the room where he is. I keep him in the living room and the other two in the dining room with a gate up just incase he has a seizure while I am not home....
  4. Dogs have no concept of "revenge." That just isn't how they think. If they did, I assume everyone who puts hats on their dogs would have been murdered in their beds by now! Can't kill us. Who would buy the food? Or make it? Or fill the endless water bowls. Cam does the same thing, the poop eating, but since I changed his diet to part Wellness, he's doing better. And I started wetting his food so he couldn't inhale it in 30 seconds flat (seen it happen). I don't make it soggy, but I make it where he'll have some wet bits and some dry. Causes him to stop and swallow while figuring this new idea out. I wet the food also but he still inhales it. I cannot give him his KBr in capsule form but have to sprinkle it as if I give in capsule form he upchucks it.
  5. EZ does inhale his food in fact when my dh was alive he used to call him the hoover. Maybe one of those bowls might help some, but I need him to stop pooping in the house on beds.
  6. This only recently started and there are days that he does not do it and days that he does it within minutes of me leaving the house. I have seen his poop before I leave the house plus pee but I will come home to a mess and he does poop on beds. He was a bounce and I was told it was due to seizures and someone having Altzheimer in the house. I am now wondering if it was aslo this poop/peeing thing
  7. EZ eats his poop but only in the house. He has been pooping and peeing in the house when I am not home. I wonder if this is a revenge thing that he does not want me going out. I don't know what to do with him but will try the pineapple juice, cant' do the tenderizer bit as he is an Epi and on KBr and was told not to give him salt.
  8. Thanks the carrot also works with him as I give him the biggest one I have. One of the boys barfed yesterday morning and I thought it was Penske but then it could of been EZ and brought up his pheno. If I know he has barfed his pheno I re dose him
  9. I gave his a whole carrot and of course his cream cheese. What they are worried about is that he might throw it up and we will have defeated the purpose of the dose of phenobarbital
  10. yes so far so good just hope we go the rest of the day with no more seizures and of course through the night
  11. PVSEC where is neuro vet is located called to check up on him. asked if I gave him a dose of phenobarbital after the seizure, told me that I can feed him dry cereal or even som dog food when he wants to eat after seizure and the carrot was a good thing I gave and I can also give him green beans. They are not too keen on giving ice cream as it would put weight on
  12. Thank you all - his neuro vet is off today (but he has backup) so I might not hear from him until tomorrow and his regular vet hours are only 1/2 day today so I probably won't hear from them until tomorrow also. They did tell me if I think he needs to be seen to bring him in.
  13. Thank you When he clustered before it used to be 5 hours after and then another 5 hours. so far we have passed that critical time. I will be calling both vets shortly, his neuro vet is not in today but there is back up
  14. EZ had another seizure at 3:11 this am and again not as violent as the ones in the past. This time it was only about 3 weeks since the last one. His blood work was fine with his thyroid panel being a little low but his neuro vet has not changed his medication. I dosed him again so I hope he does not cluster - will be calling both vets after 9 am
  15. I was told he was one lucky dog as they knocked the power off long enough for his release
  16. Thank you Seizures can be devastating and some people panic when they have a seizure. EZ was a bounce I do believe it was because of his seizures and I also found out that when he was racing he got zapped by the lure which ended his racing career. Scars that he has which we thought was road rash is actually burns from that accident
  17. I wish it was an isolated incident but his last seizure was about 5 weeks ago
  18. The only one we are waiting for is his Thyroid panel the others are okay a little high but still ok and his liver function is good
  19. This morning at 2 am EZ woke me up with another seizure - this one was very mild but of course we had the bed wetting. It took him longer to recover from this seizure after his thrashing was over. He wanted outside and had to pee and poop. I dosed him with pheno as I found out when I do this he hasn't clustered. He had trouble getting back upstairs - his legs did not seem to be coordinated but he made it and was vocal off and on for about 1 hour. This morning had to be called downstairs when I let the other two pups out. He ate his breakfast with no problem and was looking for more. I am waiting for his thyroid panel to come back to the vet, when it was drawn at is regular vet there was some sort of error that it was not read and his neuro vet was notified and is running the panel from the blood that was drawn for his pheno, KBr and liver function. Pheno and KBr levels were up a little but not bad and his liver function was good.
  20. mine with play with toys but then they will also grab pillows, and some of my items to play with (if I am sewing I had better keep those items out of reach) - caught EZ stealing a gh coats I was making plus he ate a pair of support hose - the rascal
  21. glad to hear you are working with Dr. C. and praying for a breakthrough via Dr. C with his cancer research
