  1. He loves raw carrots and will come into the kitchen and nag me for one plus he will carry them around until he finds a spot he wants to eat them like a cigar. he is such a silly boy. I am able to e-mail them but can't get them on photobucket.
  2. Praying that it all came out - would love to see him in my clothes. Its bad enough he screams at me for carrots. Wish I could get that video on Photo Bucket but I am having problems
  3. Yes they are silly boggers and that boy will eat and eat. Yes I knew where it was and I had figured if he got one in his gut the other one was there too. If he liked it he was not going to share. Just praying now that what I found was the rest of the story
  4. In this morning's poop find stocking material. Not sure it is the rest of the stocking but I will keep monitoring him to make sure he has passed all of it. No problems right now, eating, pooping and peeing normally. If he stops eating then it will be a mad dash to the vet or ER as he is a HOOVER that probably why my stocking were consumed
  5. I doubt if he hid it if he ate one he ate the other one so I have to bide my time and watch him. I do go outside when he poops and pees to make sure everything is okay he is a seizure hound so I am extra careful with him
  6. Vet did say that it could be still in his stomach - I do go out with them when they go potty saw a couple of racoons around and don't need to take any chances. At least I know there is no blockage and he does not have worms.
  7. Two weeks ago Tuesday a pair of support hose disappeared. I had just come home from work and had taken them off and put them on the stool. Went into the kitchen to make their dinner and thought nothing of the stockings until after dinner. Looked for them where I had placed them they were not there. As the hoolignas like to take things and throw them around I started looking on top of things, behind things, under things etc you all know this drill. Still could not find them. Last night EZ threw up his dinner, has he is as hoover did not think too much of it but did re dose him on his seizure meds. This morning after breakfast Mr. EZ had a bowel movement and in it was a stocking. Off to the ER to get him checked out. ER checked him over, x-rayed him and I also had them do a fecal for worms as I had the bm and stocking with me. Vital were normal except his heart rate was up a little. X-ray showed nothing in small bowel but something in the stomach but the vet said it could be his breakfast. Now the problem is where is the other stocking? ER Vet told me to monitor him and watch him closely for constipitation, vomitting, etc. WHERE IS THE STOCKING??? Still looking for the other stocking.
  8. you do beautiful work

  9. I am still in tears over the loss of these pups praying that the rest of them that they will get better and find loving homes.
  10. I must of had tears in my eyes when I posted this or I can't spell. Hope someone can fix my mistake. Btidge instead of Bridge. Yes I did have tears and I have cried a bucket full for these pups
  11. I was checking out the auction post and saw that he did not make it there - I went over to the GALT site and found the update and posted it with very wet eyes These pups in their last days were loved by all near and far and they had loving care and someone with them when they crossed to The Bridge
  12. I do hope that karma quickly visits (and takes up permanent residency) to the one responsible for all this pain. This is something we all want "Justice for the Pups"
  13. For Pudge, Braden, Martin & Rachael The Spirit Of A Greyhound I was standing on a hillside in a field of blowing wheat, and the spirit of a Greyhound was lying at my feet. He looked at me with kind dark eyes, ancient wisdom shining through. in the essence of his being, I saw the love there too. His mind did lock upon my heart as I stood there on that day, and he told me of this story about a place so far away. As I stood upon that hillside in a field of blowing wheat, in a twinkling of a second his spirit left my feet. His tale did put my heart at ease, all my fears did fade away about what lay ahead of me on another distant day. "I live among God's creatures now in the heavens of your mind, so do not grieve for me, my friend as I am with my kind. My collar is a rainbow's hue, my leash a shooting star. my boundaries are the Milky Way where I sparkle from afar. There are no pens or kennels here for I am not confined, but I'm free to roam God's heavens among the Greyhound kind. I nap the day on a snowy cloud gentle breezes rocking me, and dream the dreams of earthlings, and how it used to be. The trees are full of liver treats, and tennis balls abound, and milk bones line the walkways just waiting to be found. There even is a ring set up, the grass all lush and green; and everyone who gaits around becomes the Best of Breed. For we're all winners in this place; we have no faults, you see. and God passes out those ribbons to each one, even me. I drink from waters laced with gold, my world a beauty to behold; and wise old dogs do form my pride to amble at my very side. At night I sleep in angel's arms, her wings protecting me, and moonbeams dance about us as stardust falls on thee. So when your life on earth is spent and you stand at Heaven's gate, have no fear of loneliness-- for here, you know, I wait." -Author Unknown Everyone who was involved with the care of these 4 pups, who gave them tender loving care, and who was with them when they crossed the bridge my heart goes out to you. May Justice be served for these pups
  14. Praying that Justice will be served for these pups
  15. Update 7/31/10 Pudge's condition has deteriorated with increased seizure activity in the last 12 hours. Pudge was released from his suffering with his loving foster mom and friends by his side. Run free, Pudge, with Rachel, Martin, and Braden in green fields of clover.
  16. More prayers for Rainey from Pittsburgh and also plenty of ear scritches
  17. The more non surgical treatment the better - I would rather try medication that surgery anyday. As I said in my previous post I do have a fear on anesthesia and just heard of two greyhounds that passed away recently after a surgical procedure and we are told to be aware of anesthesia with our greys. It seems as if both procedures were minor surgery
  18. As with any medication it does not work for all. There have been good reports about this cream and I would rather try the cream than go for the surgery any day. I have a fear of anesthesia for anyone two legged or four so many things can go wrong
  19. Robin wish you had known about it sooner also. As soon as I found out about it I posted here on gt for everyone to know. Just keep this in mind incase Jack gets another corn.
  20. Wish he would do that all the time - but I guess that is too much to wish for When I told his neuro about him eating poop all he said was he was cleaning up
  21. Last night when I went out no problem when I came home and I was gone about 2 hours
  22. He is left out right before I leave the house and sometimes if I am only gone for 1 hour he does his problems. No separation anxiety now he used to and do the GSOD if he could not see us. I am starting to believe it is to get even with me. I have seen him pee at least a gallon and then I have his belly band soaked with more on the floor when I come home. He can go at night from 10 pm to 6 or 7 am so I don't think it is a bladder/kidney problem.
